【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverslowvelocityprojectilemarkers(hereinreferredtoasLVPmarker)thatpropelalowvelocityresilientmaterialprojectile(hereinreferredtoasLVRMprojectileasdefinedinSpecificationF2573)bymeansofenergyreleasedbycompressedair,compressedgas,oracombinationthereof,withvelocitynottoexceed53.34m/s(175ft/s).1.2LVRMprojectilesaremadeofaresilientmaterialandhaveadiameternosmallerthan20mm(0.7874in)andnogreaterthan30mm(1.18in.).ThehardnessoftheLVRMprojectileistobenogreaterthan75Shore00.TheweightoftheLVRMprojectileisnottoexceed4.0g.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section8,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
