【摘要】:Physicaltests,properlyinterpreted,provideinformationwithregardtothephysicalpropertiesoftheinsulationorjacket.Thephysicaltestvaluesgiveanapproximationofhowtheinsulationwillphysicallyperforminitsservicelife.Physicaltestsprovideusefuldataforresearchanddevelopment,engineeringdesign,qualitycontrol,andacceptanceorrejectionunderspecifications.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresfortestingcrosslinkedinsulationsandjacketsforwireandcable.Todeterminethetesttobemadeontheparticularinsulationorjacket,refertotheproductspecificationforthattype.Thesetestmethodsdonotapplytotheclassofproductsknownasflexiblecords.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ForspecifichazardsseeSection.1.2Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseintheparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Inmanyinstancestheinsulationorjacketcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedorjacketedwireorcableinthesetestmethodssolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationorjacketandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.1.4Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:1.5Thistestappliestothedetectionandmeasurementofpartialdischargesoccurringinthefollowingtypesofelectriccables:1.5.1Single-conductorshieldedcablesandassembliesthereof,and1.5.2Multiple-conductorcableswithindividuallyshieldedconductors.1.6Donotperformthesetestson:1.6.1Cableswhichhaveanonconductiveseparatorbetweentheconductorandtheinsulation,1.6.2Cableshavinginsulationslessthan0.045in.(1.14mm)thick,or1.6.3Insulationswithcoveringsthatarenotremovablewithoutdamagetotheinsulation.

【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiesamethodofliquidflowratemeasurementinclosedconduitsbymeasuringthemassofliquiddeliveredintoaweighingtankinaknowntimeinterval.Itdealsinparticularwiththemeasuringapparatus,procedure,andmethodforcalculatingtheflowrateandtheuncertaintiesassociatedwiththemeasurement.Themethoddescribedmaybeappliedtoanyliquid,providedthatitsvaporpressureissuchthatanyescapeofliquidfromtheweighingtankbyvaporizationisnotsufficienttoaffecttherequiredmeasurementaccuracy.ClosedweighingtanksandtheirapplicationtotheflowmeasurementofliquidsofhighvaporpressurearenotconsideredinthisStandard.ThisStandardconsidersonlythemeasurementtechniquesanddoesnotaddressanypossiblehazardsinvolvedinhandlingtheliquidinvolved.Theoretically,thereisnolimittotheapplicationofthismethod,whichisusedgenerallyinfixedlaboratoryinstallationsonly.However,foreconomicreasons,typicalhydrauliclaboratoriesusingthismethodcanproduceaccurateflowratesof500kg/s(3300lbm/sec)orless.Owingtoitshighpotentialaccuracy,thismethodisoftenusedasaprimarymethodforcalibrationofothermethodsordevicesformassflowratemeasurementorvolumetricflowratemeasurement,providedthatthedensityoftheliquidisknownaccurately.Itmustbeensuredthatthepipelineisrunningfullwithnoairorvaporpocketspresentinthemeasuringsection.
