【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthetransportingofControlNetworkProtocol(CNP)packetsoverInternetProtocol(IP)networksusingatunnellingmechanismwhereintheCNPpacketsareencapsulatedwithintheIPpackets.ItappliestobothCNPnodesandCNProuters.ThepurposeofthisEuropeanStandardistoinsureinteroperabilitybetweenvariousCNPdevicesthatwishtouseIPnetworkstocommunicateusingtheCNPprotocol.ThemainbodyofthisEuropeanStandardisindependentoftheCNPprotocolbeingtransportedovertheIPnetwork.ThereaderisdirectedtoAnnexAandAnnexBforthenormativeandinformative,respectively,aspectsofthisspecificationthatarespecifictoEN14908-1.Figure1showsapossibleconfigurationofsuchCNPdevicesandnetworksconnectedtoanIPnetwork.IntheabovediagramtheIPnetworkcanbeconsideredtobeoneormoreIPchannels.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversonlyhowCNPpacketsaretransportedoverIPchannels.ItdoesnotcoverhowCNPpacketsareroutedbetweenstandardCNPchannelsandIPchannels.Thisspecificationisnotintendedtocoverthelowerlayers(physical,MACandlinklayers)ofeitherstandardCNPorIPchannels.
