【摘要】:Thismethodisusedtodeterminetheforcerequiredtorupturetextilefabricbyforcingasteelballthroughthefabricwithaconstant-rate-of-extensiontensiletester.Thisisanewmethodandthereforethehistoryofdataisverysmall,howevertheagreementofwithin-laboratorydatasuggestthismethodmaybeconsideredforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentswithcaution.5.2.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,samplesusedforsuchcomparativetestshouldbeashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtesting,andrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratory.Otherfabricswithestablishedtestvaluesmayalsobeusedforthesecomparativetests.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatfabricmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthemeasurementforburstingstrengthofwovenandknittedtextilestakenfromrollsoffabricorfabrictakenfromgarments.Note1Forthemeasurementofburstingstrengthwithahydraulicorpneumaticmachine,refertoTestMethodD3786.Forthemeasurementoftheburstingstrengthbymeansofaballburstmechanism,refertoTestMethodD37871.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorU.S.customaryunitsaretoberegardedasstandard,butmustbeusedindependentlyofeachother.TheU.S.customaryunitsmaybeapproximate.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
